The Cruise People, Ltd. Canada As an independent company, The Cruise People Ltd. are not beholden to any one cruise company or supplier. Therefore, we are free to keep your best intrests at heart.  With our vast experience and buying power, we can offer true value to you!

At any given time, about 500 passenger-carrying ships are in service throughout the world. They are not all alike, and neither are the cruises they offer. Some ships spend their lives in the Caribbean; some visit Scandinavia seasonally; some call the South Pacific or the Mediterranean home; still others cruise the coasts of North and South America.

Cruise ships may be large or tiny, or any size in between, with manifests from less than 100 up to around 3000 passengers. For anyone thinking about taking a cruise, the choice is vast - so vast that it seems overwhelming. At The Cruise People, Ltd., we believe that our most important duty is helping our clients make that choice by finding the cruise that suits them best. Some clients prefer small, intimate ships. Others like the latest megaships with a near-endless list of activities and amenities. Some clients enjoy being aboard a ship that reflects national origin - perhaps British, Italian, German or Canadian. To some people, the ports of call are their main reason for taking a cruise. To others, time at sea ranks high in importance. Other people enjoy the adventure offered by vessels that specialize in Polar Region cruising. For yet another group of people, the solitude found on board a freighter voyage just can't be beat.

Some cruise lines have earned a reputation for the liveliness of life aboard; they attract many younger adults. While other cruise lines tend to attract more experienced travellers.  There are lines that place strong emphasis on children's programmes; that's where you are apt to find families. Some ships are noted for their cuisine, some for the excellence of their guest lecturers, while yet others have been noted for the exceptional entertainment offered on board (at not additional cost!). And still other cruise lines are well noted for the distinctive ports of call they visit.  Certain ships specialize in longer cruises, 14 days or more; others sail year-round on 3- and 4-day cruises. Some cruises are priced to appeal to a broad market; some are priced to attract people with a considerable amount of disposable income. So, how do you choose?.  At The Cruise People, Ltd. we can lead you gently through this maze, and when it's all over, you will have the cruise that is right for you.
