At
The
Cruise People, Ltd., Group and Incentive Travel
has become a much larger portion of our business in the last
few years. Mind you, we're not complaining, since we find
preparing and booking Group and Incentive Travel enjoyable assignments.
|
The
Cruise People is proud to present an amazing group offer arranged by crystal cruises |
There
are two types of groups: one assembled by you the client, the other
by the travel agent. The first is an affinity group; its members
have a common bond. The most popular by far being a family reunion,
imagine two or three generations taking a holiday together, with
on board programmes designed for each age group. Sounds inviting
doesn't it? Dance groups come to mind, or maybe a bridge club, or
a group of golfing buddies. Members of your golf club will have
the opportunity to play new multiple courses...so much the better
when your local club is deeply covered with snow. Those interested
in investment opportunities could attend seminars by multiple speakers.
A cruise lets them take a holiday together and enjoy shared interests
aboard or ashore. Dancing on an open deck, a bridge tournament
in the ship's card room, golf at three or four Caribbean ports,
investment seminars in Bermuda - these are only a few of the opportunities
awaiting your affinity groups.
Different
lines have different policies, but with the right number of cabins
booked - it can be eight or even fewer - the organizer can travel
free, while all group members receive considerable savings. Usually
amenity points can be applied to the group, they may take the form
of on board credits, wine in your group members cabins, or an additional
savings to the cruise fare.
The
second kind of group, is put together by the agent for a particular
sailing. The agent takes advantage of reduced fares under
the cruise line's block-booking policy and passes along the savings
to you. Members of this group usually do not know each other,
although they often will before the cruise is over. They are
free, however, to do their own thing individually throughout the
cruise, yet still enjoy the benefits of lower fares.
If
you are interested in Group Travel - either kind - let us know.
Michael Abel, our
group specialists, will put our experience and expertise to work
for you.
Incentive travel
is a growing segment of The
Cruise People, Ltd.'s
business.
Incentive
travel consists of rewarding important business customers or key
employees for their loyalty or achievements. While we usually
think of salespeople who have surpassed their targets, there are
others: technical staff who have solved complex problems or initiated
cost-saving procedures; managers who have demonstrated superior
ability in everyday routine or exceptional circumstances.
Whether customer or employee, the bottom line is that both are of
significant value to your company.
Booking
incentive travel can be a complex affair. Often the names of the
people travelling are not even known at the time of booking. We
have even furnished cruises as a door prize!! Michael
Abel in our office will negotiate all the details for you. Just
contact him with your idea, and he will make it a reality.
For
valued customers or employees, a cruise is a distinctive and greatly
appreciated reward for their loyalty or accomplishments -- and it's
something their spouses will enjoy too! That's where The Cruise People, Ltd.
comes in. We know our ships, we know their amenities, we know
their itineraries. We can tailor a programme to meet the incentive
group's requirements and budget. Limousines from home to airport?
Adjacent tables in the ship's dining room? A private room
for a shipboard cocktail party? Golf in Bermuda? Snorkelling
in St. Thomas? Helicopter flights over an Alaskan glacier?
The list is endless, and The Cruise People, Ltd. can make all
the arrangements.
Many
companies like to combine incentive cruises with on-board workshops
for new product lines, innovative sales techniques or the latest
management theories. Most cruise ships have conference centres
and seminar rooms furnished with modern audio-visual equipment.
Again, we can make all the arrangements.
Incentive
cruises reward customer loyalty and employees' accomplishments.
Shipboard seminars motivate future achievements. Whether
it be a customer or an employee, a company-sponsored cruise fosters
loyalty, encourages teamwork and stimulates productivity.
The
Cruise People, Ltd.
has the expertise and experience to bring all the components together
successfully and to do so in a cost-efficient manner that represents
excellent value. Contact Michael
Abel here at The Cruise People, Ltd. and let's talk about your
incentive and business travel needs. We look forward to hearing
from you.
