For over 30 years The Cruise People, Ltd. has been owned and operated by John and Diana Lang.  John's lifelong interest in ships and travel led him to establish The Cruise People in 1972.  Diana, is particularly knowledgeable about travel to Alaska and Canada's Yukon Territory.  

Fiona Lang, the daughter of John and Diana began her career in the cruise industry stamping brochures at the tender age of three! She has continued her education in the travel industry and is a designated specialist for many cruise lines. Fiona has also been interviewed for her perspective regarding the evolution of the cruise industry for a book soon to be published about R.M.S. Queen Mary 2. Most often occupied doing administrative work, she does occaisionaly assist with cruise sales.

Fred Cherney, Master Cruise Counsellor, brings his 25 years of sea travel experience on board both passenger freighters and cruise ships. His area of specialization is passenger freighters. His encylopeadic knowledge of freighter travel, and his dedication to finding the right itineary for our freighter passengers makes him an invaluble asset to us, and his clients.

Michael Abel, our latest addition to the office, heads up the group and incentive department, although Michael is also a voice often heard answering the phone and assisting potential clients with their enquiries and bookings. 

Expedition and exploration voyages are looked after by Rochelle McLlean.  She is posted in Vancouver, British Columbia, and brings a new dimension of expertise to her field of Polar Expedition cruising. Although she is not in the same province as the rest of her Cruise People contemporaries, she is easily accesable so her knowledge is available to all.

Charles McCormack has been in the industry for many years and his background includes ownership of a Cruise Holidays store here in Toronto.  

June Young, has joined us most recently. She brings to us excellent service for our clients, and the knowledged gleened from many years employed as a reservationist by Canada's largest cruise wholesaler.
